New DELHI, January 26. The first in the 2018 meeting of the delegation of the International Alliance of BRICS Strategic Projects finished on Friday in Delhi.
The trip was organized with the support of the Managing Director of the International Alliance of BRICS Strategic Projects for India - Sanjay Kapoor.

Altogether there were more than 10 meetings at Ministerial level and agencies.

Among the most interesting projects submitted by International Alliance of BRICS Strategic Projects, which we managed to coordinate with colleagues at the meeting highlighted Russian project "Restoration of the ecological balance of the Holy River Ganges" in the technological concepts of the ability of rivers to cleanse by increasing technogenic and anthropogenic loads on the pool. One of the most ambitious projects aimed at the development of the Indian economy and improvement of people's quality of life.

The minutes of the meeting, which featured presentation of the project, were signed by Mr. U. P. Singh, Director General of the National Committee to clean up the Ganges, and L. N. Zelentsova, President of the BRICS Alliance. It is expected that the pilot project for cleaning Ganga is to be launched in 2018.

The Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Jai Ram Thakur at a reception given in honor of the delegation of BRICS Alliance, commended the competence and professionalism of the President of the BRICS Alliance, Larisa Zelentsova, as well as of other members of the Russian delegation.
