On December 2, the one-day forum Uniting Business Africa will take place online.
It is a forum organized by the United Nations Global Compact in partnership with the Global Compact Local Networks in Africa, and will bring together local and global leaders from business, civil society, government, Global Compact Local Networks and the United Nations. The online event will aim to inform, inspire and stimulate collective private sector approaches to strengthening businesses, building resilience and promoting social goals.
The forum will showcase the new UN Global Compact Strategy for Africa, which articulates a commitment to accelerate and expand the global collective impact of business by adhering to the Ten Principles and achieving the SDGs and Agenda 2063 through accountable companies and ecosystems that drive change.
The main objectives are to build influence by focusing on issues and programs most relevant to African businesses; increase the participation of African enterprises, large and small; and leverage the influence of the private sector, including associations, supply chains and sources of capital.
The one-day forum will include inspiring plenary sessions, breakout sessions and content studios where you can learn more about sustainable business opportunities in Africa, download how-tos, and hear from thought leaders from other regions.
ANO "International Alliance of Strategic Projects BRICS" will take part in the forum "Uniting Business in Africa".
