Beijing hosts One Belt, One Road Forum
Beijing hosted the international economic One Belt, One Road Forum, which was devoted to the problems of regional integration and interaction of Asian countries. Presidents of 29 countries attended it.

More than 1,500 delegates from 130 countries, representatives of 70 international organizations, including the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank participated in the forum. Representatives of the European Union, France, Germany, Great Britain, Japan, Korea and the USA also arrived in Beijing. The Presidents of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev and Russia Vladimir Putin were also present at the forum from EEU countries.

The Forum hosted discussion on the conjunction of the Silk Road Economic belt and the Eurasian Economic Union. The idea began to be discussed three years ago.
